The origins of the company date back to 1926 when Ramón Hernandez inaugurated his shop in San Sebastian. His progeny extended the shop that now covers an area of 500sqm in the centre of San Sebastian and received several prizes recognising it as one of the most prestigious stores in Spain for the exclusiveness of its products.
Subsequent development of the business led to the incorporation of Difusión Moda Internacional, S.L. in 1978. That essentially aimed at making foreign fashion available to the Spanish retailers who had a very small foreign offer at that time. With nearly thirty years in the market and run by Cristina Hernandez, DMI continues being one of the sector's leading companies owing to its professionalism and reliability.
